INSPIRATION

The inspiration for the Spring / Summer 2022 collection is influenced by the life story of Itamar Ben-Avi, the first Hebrew child, and his vision and dream of establishing a first Hebrew navy in the Land of Israel.

Ben-Avi, who grew up in a restrictive environment and experienced many hardships in his childhood, found a place of refuge from the daily difficulties in his imagination and dreams.

Later in his adult life, one of his dreams was to establish the first Hebrew navy in Israel, in 1913 he wrote many articles describing his vision and began to work towards fulfilling it.

The articles gained great exposure and recognition, and over the years a community of dreamers just like him began to develop.

This community worked hard for the cause until they achieved their dream and realized Itamar Ben Avi’s vision by establishing the first Hebrew fleet in Israel in 1920.
